Use this window to configure Remote Access on a serial over LAN (SOL) connection.

| Enable Serial Over LAN | Enables SOL for Remote Access when selected; disables SOL for Remote Access when deselected. | |
| Baud Rate | 9600 bps | Indicates connection speed of 9600 bits per second. |
| 19.2 kbps | Indicates connection speed of 19.2 kbps. | |
| 38.4 kbps | Indicates connection speed of 38.4 kbps. | |
| 57.6 kbps | Indicates connection speed of 57.6 kbps. | |
| NOTE: The baud rate should match the serial port baud rate. | ||
| Minimum Privilege Required | The SOL channel inherits privilege from the LAN channel level limit. However, the Minimum Privilege Required setting provided on this page adds an additional restriction to privilege level. | |
| Administrator | For the SOL channel, Remote Access users with only Administrator privileges have access. | |
| Operator | For the SOL channel, Remote Access users with only Operator and Administrator privileges have access. | |
| User | For the SOL
channel, Remote Access users with User, Operator, and Administrator privileges have access. NOTE: The privilege level of the user will depend on the LAN channel privilege limit. |
| Apply Changes | Saves a record of the values that you have entered or selected for each field. |
| Prints a copy of the open window to your default printer. | |
| Export | Saves a text file containing the contents of this window (the values of each data field separated by a customizable delimiter) to a destination you specify. |
| E-mails the contents of this window to your designated recipient. See the Server Administrator User's Guide for instructions about configuring your Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) server. | |
| Refresh | Updates the screen with latest information. |
| Advanced Settings | Returns you to the Serial Over LAN Configuration Advanced Settings page. |
